Welcome to 'Sussex Breeze' villa on the beautiful island of Mauritius

Sussex Breeze is a luxury detached villa standing in secluded private gardens with a swimming pool.

It is less than 100 metres from Mauritius's largest and longest magnificent public sandy beach. The villa is located in a quiet residential area of Mon Choisy between Trou aux Biches and Grand Baie.

Five minutes walk from the beach villa are a small supermarket, bank with cash point, restaurants and a hotel. The bus stop is adjacent and connections to the whole island of Mauritius are possible by bus. Taxis are also readily available.

The town of Grand Baie is about 10 km from Sussex Breeze and offers amenities such as restaurants, bars, large supermarket and a variety of shops.

Watersports in Mauritius:

Blue Water Diving Centre is only a 5 minute walk from the villa in Mont Choisy. They offer diving from 6–50 metres depending on experience and open water diving on the reef. Pleasure Dive Centre in Mont Choisy offers diving courses.

Hiring of canoes, dinghies and waterskiing is only a 5 minute walk from the villa on the Hotel Mont Choisy jetty.

The villa is run privately by a family in the UK who have relatives in Mauritius. They visit Mauritius regularly to make sure all is well with the property.

When they are not on the island the rest of the family are on hand to ensure the villa is perfectly maintained and that guests have everything they need to make their stay in the villa and on Mauritius one to remember.

Villa Facilities:

  • Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances including gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer & microwave.
  • 1 twin bedroom and 2 double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower facilities), further shower upstairs, 3 toilets (2 downstairs).
  • Maid service (6 days a week) to clean the villa, make and change the bedding.
  • The lounge area has a TV/DVD (with modern sound system) and separate dining room area, tastefully furnished.
  • The villa is fully air-conditioned with individual temperature controls for each room.
  • Telephone for receiving international calls and making local calls.
  • There is a beautiful covered patio area leading on to the swimming pool to the front of the property. A secluded walled garden with trees & shrubs surrounds the villa.
  • Laundry room with full use of modern washing machine and ironing facilities.
  • Outside is a covered dining area with table, chairs and cushions. Sun loungers positioned in garden.
  • Barbeque (fresh fish is available daily off the jetty, 5 minutes walk from villa).
  • Secure parking on the drive behind entrance gates.
  • Preferential car hire available with the villa.

Local Restaurants in Mauritius:

There is a fine selection of restaurants offering delicious local cuisine nearby at Point de Cannoires which is only a 2 minute drive from Mont Choisy towards Grand Baie.
